Features four electric scissor lifts

Ballabgarh, Haryana, India: JCB India Ltd., India’s leading manufacturer of earthmoving and construction equipment, today launched its Access equipment line. This new range consists of four models of electric scissors S1930E, S2632E, S3246E and S4046E, and offers working heights of 7.71 m, 9.92 m, 11.7 m and 13.9 m.

These four models are part of the full range of machines, including knuckle boom and telescopic machines, and will be manufactured at JCB India’s state-of-the-art facility in Jaipur. With the launch of these electric scissors, JCB is entering a new era of environmentally friendly products and technologies.

Speaking on the occasion, Deepak Shetty, CEO and Managing Director of JCB India, said: “The story of growth in India remains strong for us. Our aerial work platforms have distinct advantages due to their numerous sensors and control systems such as tilt detection, load detection, pothole protection and the intuitive control system which makes them intrinsically safe. .

Self-propelled electric scissors provide much safer access to the personnel and equipment required to perform tasks at height. These elevators can handle any application that would normally require a ladder, tower, or scaffolding. Scissor lifts allow operators to do the same job faster and more safely, without the time to set up other equipment. Machines improve site safety by reducing the likelihood of workplace injuries and equipment damage by giving workers in all industries the confidence to work at great heights.

On-screen diagnostics, independent circuit protection, hydraulic and electrical accessibility improve serviceability and reliability of these machines. The machines are designed around ease of transport, and features like ramp climbing up to 25% grade, easy tie-down points, good ground clearance and towing options simplify transport. JCB’s Access machine line is built around strength and durability. They are more stable, rigid in height with full pivot bosses. The machines also have better protection of components like a wheel motor protection plate.

Each model has been EN280 certified for CE compliance, ensuring the highest product quality standards.
